Studio Publications is the leading publisher of magazines and books in Winnipeg. Titles include Winnipeg Women/Winnipeg Men and Urbanite magazines, as well as bestselling books like The Italian Way - Cooking with the De Lucas and The Winnipeg Jets - A Celebration of Professional Hockey in Winnipeg.

We are busy and getting busier. We need to add a designer to help us with our current and coming expansion and volume of work.

We are seeking to add a creative designer who can help with our web design work. You need to be able to work in a fast paced environment and handle multiple projects at one time. You have to be able to think on your feet and develop solutions to client issues in a timely manner. You have to be able to troubleshoot problems and come up with creative design solutions to help clients and advertisers meet their communication goals.

You need to know HTML, CSS, Photoshop, some php & javascript, and Dreamweaver for web design. Ability to edit video would be a great asset.

You will hold a relevant web design Certificate/Diploma/Degree. Industry experience preferred, not required.

We are seeking an editorial assistant for our magazine and custom publication division.

We're looking for an energetic, career-driven individual who will thrive working in a fast-paced environment where varied duties are typical. Working closely with the editor, responsibilities will include proof reading and fact-checking, researching, some writing for both print and web, picking up and returning items for photo shoots and various duties as required.

Studio Publications produces six issues of Winnipeg Women and Winnipeg Men magazines annually as well as Urbanite magazine and several custom publications.

Qualifications
The successful candidate will have a degree or diploma in journalism or a related field. He or she will be a great communicator and an effective proofreader and writer. Access to a vehicle is required.
